About Phillip Stoner The Jeweller

In 1982, after studying Jewellery Design at Bradford College of Art, Phillip Stoner opened his first store and workshop in Shipley, West Yorkshire.

Phillip's reputation for creating exquisite jewellery flourished and he opened a new store in Halifax in 1998.

The company expanded into Leeds city centre in 2002 and in 2007 opened a second store in the city’s ‘Knightsbridge of the North’; The Victoria Quarter.

In 2008, the company’s established tradition of exceptional craftsmanship became the responsibility of Phillip’s son, Jonathan. To keep Phillip Stoner The Jeweller at the forefront of design, Jonathan invested in the latest technology and Master Craftsman who created exclusive collections and enhanced Phillip Stoner's Bespoke Jewellery Design offering.

The company's first store outside Yorkshire opened in 2010 in Spinningfields, Manchester. Soon after, Jonathan was named The Retail Star by Hot 100 Jeweller.

In 2012 the jeweller's Workshop relocated from Halifax to Phillip Stoner's Victoria Quarter Leeds store and the Trinity Leeds store followed shortly after in 2013.

The company's reputation for outstanding quality and service has lead to high-profile commissions from Yorkshire County Cricket Club, Leeds City Council and Michael Jackson.
