STAFF PICKS – RAINBOW JEWELLERY

In the past month Rainbows have become a symbol of hope, positivity and support for NHS and key workers fighting Covid-19. Our Rainbow Jewellery Collection holds some of our staff’s favourite pieces; designed to brighten up any outfit and raise a smile.

On the night we #ClapForOurCarers, we wanted to share some of our favourite mood-enhancing pieces.

SAPPHIRES IN RAINBOW JEWELLERY: THE FACTS

  • Blue Sapphires may be the most commonly known, but Sapphires can also be pink, yellow, orange, violet, green or purple. The variety of beautiful hues available are now commonly used by contemporary jewellery designers to create beautiful Rainbow Suites.
  • Sapphires are hardwearing. Although not quite as tough as Diamonds, Sapphires are perfectly suited to everyday wear.
  • Sapphire is the Birthstone for September and the gemstone used to celebrate the 45th Wedding Anniversary.
  • Royals are fans of Sapphire jewellery, the most famous piece being the Blue Sapphire & Diamond engagement ring worn by Princess Diana and the Duchess of Cambridge. More recently Princess Eugenie was given a stunning, salmon coloured Padparadscha Sapphire Engagement Ring.
