Wear it Yellow, July 3rd 2014

The Tour de France Grand Départ is only days away and in celebration, on Thursday 3rd July, The Yorkshire Evening Post’s “Wear it Yellow” campaign is set to embrace the colour of Le Tour, while raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Wear It Yellow for The Tour de France & Yorkshire Air Ambulance

Individuals in businesses, schools and communities across the region have pledged to pay £1 each and wear something yellow on the day. At Phillip Stoner, for every £1 an employee donates, the MD will match it with £10! Monies raised will go towards keeping Yorkshire’s helicopters up in the air, continuing to save lives. Phillip Stoner’s Leeds teams will be getting involved on the day – Keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter to see the photos!

Anyone who would like to get involved in Yellow Yorkshire can email pictures and stories to The Yorkshire  Evening Post’s Tour de France reporter, jonathan.brown@ypn.co.uk, or tweet using the hashtag #yellowyorkshire.
