Phillip Stoner has donated a £5,000 diamond necklace to help fundraising at the prestigious Firecracker Ball taking place in Harrogate next month. The established platinum and diamond specialist is the latest business to pledge support for the event, which raises funds for Barnardo’s causes in Yorkshire.
Jonathan Stoner, Managing Director said, “We are delighted to be able to support the Firecracker Ball for a second time. It is a very worthy fundraiser for young people in need. This year we have donated an 18ct white gold, diamond set “Snowflake” pendant which is absolutely stunning!”.
The Firecracker Ball raises considerable funds for Barnardo’s projects across Yorkshire. It takes place on Saturday 9th November 2013 in a bespoke marquee at Rudding Park Hotel in Harrogate. An ‘Indian Summer’ themed backdrop is planned with a number of ‘money can’t buy’ auction prizes and entertainment from Ali Campbell of UB40 fame.
The Ball has become the most significant event in the Yorkshire social calendar helping to change the lives of thousands of vulnerable children and young people across Yorkshire. Since 2002, the Ball has raised more than £1.3 million for Barnardo’s… a record breaking £205,000 last year alone.
The Firecracker Ball committee is actively seeking support from individuals and businesses in the region who are interested in sponsorship packages, table bookings or donating auction or other prizes for the charity.
